Jens A. Wilhelmsen as a Norwegian citizen, established his first business in Cyprus in 2006 and now lives here as a permanent resident. He is the founding partner and owner of Anchor Capital Group which manages private equity funds, focussing on investments in oil and gas field service companies. Jens served for 10 years as president for the Norwegian British Chamber of Commerce in London. In 2006 he received His Majesty King Harald V’s Royal Norwegian Order of Merit for services to the Norwegian Trade and Industry.
Takis is a Fellow of the Association of Certified Accountants of the UK, a Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus and a former senior Partner with KPMG in Cyprus specializing in Banking, Finance, Insurance, Oil and Gas industries. From March 1999 to February 2003 he was the Minister of Finance of Cyprus during which time he was instrumental in guiding Cyprus to harmonization of the relevant legislation of the EU. He introduced a major Tax Reform in 2002 which was the base for expanding Cyprus role as a major international business centre. He held various offices of public interest such as Member of the Monopolies Commission, Governor for Cyprus of the International Monetary Fund, Governor for Cyprus of the European Board for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Chairman of the Cyprus Basketball Federation, Member of the Executive Council of the Cyprus Olympic Committee. He is a Non executive Director in publicly quoted and private companies in Cyprus and overseas involved in Banking, Insurance, Ship Owning and Ship Management, Shipping Investment Funds, Offshore Drilling services, Hospital Care and Development, Hotel and Leisure, oil and gas and IT. Takis is also a Director of CMK Profidelis Corporate Services Limited, one of the Founding Members of the NBAC.
Ole is a Norwegian citizen and established his Cyprus company in 2006. He has lived on the island since 2005 on a permanent basis. He is a founding partner and owner of Werring Cyprus Ltd, marketing Cyprus property primarily to the Scandinavian markets. Prior to moving to Cyprus, Ole enjoyed a long international career in the marketing communications industry. He managed advertising agencies in 5 European countries for one of the large global agencies, Ogilvy & Mather, over a 30-year span. He was elected “advertising man of the year” by the Norwegian Association of Advertising Agencies in 1986 and served two terms as that association´s chairman.
Nancy Erotocritou is a partner at Harneys Aristodemou Loizides Yiolitis LLC and is part of the Banking and Finance Department advising major international banking institutions in project and asset finance transactions and security structures. Nancy also advises multinational companies in corporate law matters and has particular expertise in mergers and acquisitions. Nancy has authored legal articles in the Comparative Law Yearbook of International Business, the Mergers & Acquisitions Review and the International Banking Newsletter of the International Law Office. She has been recommended as a leading lawyer by the legal directories Legal 500, Chambers Global, IFLR and Best Lawyers International. Nancy is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association, the Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association and is the exclusive banking and finance representative of the Women’s Law Network in Cyprus.
Arne Dag Aanensen, as a Norwegian citizen, have been working for Cyprus established company, Norconsult Telematics Ltd since 2001, resident since 2008. Currently works as CFO for Norconsult Telematics Ltd and Norcon PLC. Aanensen worked prior to this as Finance/Office Manager for Blom ASA (Norway) on their DMRM project in Jakarta Indonesia for 6 years.
Before joining the company in June 2013, Mr. Iversen was a member of the executive leadership team at Odfjell Drilling AS. During his 17 year’s tenure at Odfjell Drilling, he has been executive vice president for Corporate Business Development, Odfjell Drilling Technology and Odfjell Well Services. His latest position was President and CEO of Odfjell Galvao Ltda in Brazil. Mr. Iversen holds a Master of Science in Business from the Norwegian School of Business and Economics (NHH), and various management courses from Harvard Business School and NHH. Mr. Iversen is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Cyprus.
Constantinos Tzagotzides holds the position of accounting director in Deep Sea Supply PLC. He holds a BSc in Applied Accounting and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He has 10 years of experience in accounting related positions. He has worked in Deep Sea Supply since 2007. Previously, he was employed as a chief accountant in A.P. Moller Maersk, Cyprus and has furthermore worked as an auditor.
Mr. Pelaghias holds graduate degrees in Diplomatic History, and Law from Uppsala University, Sweden. He works as a legal consultant, specializing on corporate and international tax matters, as well as the development of hydrocarbon legislation and policies of the EU and the Republic of Cyprus. He serves on the board of directors of several companies specializing in the management of international investments, including investments in the field of energy and energy security. Mr. Pelaghias is also the Executive Director of the European Rim Policy and Investment Council (ERPIC), a Cyprus-based think-tank focusing on geopolitical, legal and energy issues in the Near East nd the Eastern Mediterranean basin. He is a frequent speaker at international conferences on Eastern Mediterranean affairs
Having obtained a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Economics, Accounting and Finance from the University of Manchester, UK, he moved to London in order to carry out his articles as a trainee Chartered Accountant working with a medium sized audit firm in the West End of London. After successfully completing his apprenticeship he returned to Cyprus to continue his carrier with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Three years later he left PwC with the title of Audit Manager and moved to head the Internal Audit of 2 Ministries of the Republic of Cyprus. In 2001 he was appointed by the Council of Ministers with the agreement of the President the Republic of Cyprus as Deputy Chairman and Deputy Government Commissioner of the Cyprus SEC (Securities Exchange Commission) the Regulatory body of The Cyprus Stock Exchange and the Cyprus Capital Market. Apart from being a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus he is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He specialises in Audit/Assurance, International Tax Planning and specialised consultancy on the Capital Market and the Stock Exchange. His extensive experience of over 20 years in the profession from various positions enable him to follow a “solutions based approach”.
Neofytos Chrysostomou works as Finance Manager for Jotun, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of decorative paints, marine, protective and powder coatings. Prior to this appointment, Neofytos has worked in various shipping companies serving in finance-related positions, the last of which was financial controller for a ship classification firm based in Limassol. He holds a Bachelor degree in Management from the University of Leicester and an MBA from the Liverpool John Moores University. He is also a Certified Internal Auditor of the Institute of Internal Auditors. Neofytos serves as the Treasurer of NBAC having a dual role for the accounts and website administration.
